Sooo much has happened and I have been a bad Mom with my blogging.. (Yes, I am a very proud Mom) ;)

Beau and Brady are now 5, wow how time flies when you are having fun. They are truly the best little 5 years olds EVER.. Every day I am amazed at how smart they are getting and how well behaved they are. As I sit here typing they are playing the Wii.. Brady is an addict for sure but I think Beau is starting to like it a little more lately. We got a game for Christmas at our house called "Just Dance" and to watch them dance is the cutest thing I have ever seen.. La and I decided to enroll them into a Montessori school and I believe that our decision in doing this was one of the best ones.. They LOVE it and are learning like crazy.

Stefani, the kids and I got a house about 4 months ago and we LOVE it.. Everyone is all settled in to their rooms and as soon as Chase (Stefs son) moves in, we will be one big happy family. We spent the Summer camping, Boating, Swimming and just enjoying the Sun. Bear lake was a blast with my family and a few of our friends.

We have ALL been skiing this Winter season and so far so good.. Beau and Brady love it and are catching on pretty fast. Stef isn't a big skier (coming from California), but I am doing my best at getting her up there on the hill with the rest of us, so far so good.. I think that the Winters here can be VERY long if you don't ski or board.

I guess I got enough of Facebook for a minute.. hahahhaah (that's to you La)
The weather is FINALLY warming up so we went on a few bike rides and spent time with family. My nephew McKade got baptized on Saturday so we had to get up early and head out to Stockton (hour drive).. I can't believe my oldest Nephew is 8... Crazy.. Seems like just yesterday I was begging my brother and sister in law to let me take him for the day/night.. I remember taking him to the store and feeling so "special" because people thought he looked like me.. I'm proud of you McKade.

My GREAT Grandmother made 20 of us Grandchildren hats and her request was to have us take a picture of ourselves in it and send her the picture... I love the hat.. It's something I will cherish FOREVER!!! Here is your picture grandma.. I'll be putting a printed one in the mail this week, I promise!

The boys started Karate last week and so far they are loving it.. Sensa Mark (chief instructor) told me on Friday that Brady is one of the most focused 4 year olds that he has taught and Beau has A LOT of energy but does good as well!

Lala took the boys to the Aquarium today with some friends and they had a great time.. Mom had to work ;(

Wow, 4 years ago there where two little miracles that came into our lives, they have grown so fast and I thank god for them everyday!

Yesterday was their special day! They where brought into this world with many struggles and fought through all of them! Beau wasn't really breathing on his own and neither Beau or Brady would eat or keep their temperatures up on their own! La and I where only able to go into the NICU during certain hours and hold them for 20 to 30 minutes at a time.. We had to reach through into their little home to change their diapers and just look at them for hours as they slept so peacefully! We had to go home empty handed for 2 weeks and drive up to the hospital, sometimes 3 times a day, or we did end up renting a room there at the hospital kind of like a hotel room so that we could be close by!

And now they are 4... Here are some pictures of their special day! We are SO blessed!!!

Okay Okay, I know it looked like Beau was beaten by either his moms or Brady but it was Self Inflicted..

He was out front playing with some sort of milk weed plant and he broke it open and the stuff inside somehow got all over his eye.. We had a day from "HELL"... He cried for hours and after a nap he woke up and his eye was a big welt!

So, there you go... thats what happened... LOL

I can't believe that B and B are going to school today! I'm sure that all of you moms out there that have gone through this, totally understand what I am feeling right now! Our baby boys are starting pre-school today. It seems like just yesterday that they both fit in my arms and let me hold them for hours, I was nursing both of them at once and then burping them, we watched them get on all fours and try to crawl, while Brady never did... He just decided to get up and walk, I just can't believe time has flown this fast!

They are soooo excited to go today (in fact, it's helping me because I thought this would be rough for them). Beau woke up this morning and 1st thing said "mom, is we going to school today"? Then when we where down eating breakfast they heard the bus drive by and said "Mom, we are going to miss the Bus".. Oh heck no, Mom isn't even close to be sending you on a bus! LOL

Okay... on another note! We went to my Aunts house in West Haven over the weekend with my cousins and their kids for a Barbecue and Swimming! We had so much fun! I can't believe all of the BOYS that we all have.. And all about the same age! The older ones are AWESOME with the younger ones.. Everyone played well together and it was hard to leave! Can you believe it?? I'm blogging!

I have been a total slacker with blogging lately I know!!

I took the boys to my Grandparents 70th anniversary last weekend.. It was GREAT to see many family members that we don't get to see as often as I would like, and I loved spending time with my mom and brothers as always! And of course my high school friend! LOVE HER!

So, I grew up in Idaho and I am SO mad at myself for taking that beautiful place for granted! I hung out at these falls on a weekly basis and never really realized until now how beautiful this place really is! In this picture check out the rainbow! It was AMAZING and soooo full!

Lala took the boys to a friends church today and they really liked it! I think it's great that they went!

Bear Lake Fun!

So! Every year we pack up the camper and head up to Bear Lake for the 24th (Utah Holiday).. Well It's a huge firework competition to see who can buy the best ones.. No, not us because we can't afford it.. But friends of ours and their families.. Anyway, I was blown away with the show this year.. It was better then Sugarhouse Park and then to boot, it was over the water on the beach.. Awwww!
So, I don't want to make you all too jealous, but I'll share a few pictures with you.. The boys had at total blast.. We rode 4-wheelers, skied, wave runners, built sand castles, sat under the stars, roasted marshmallows and laughed a lot.. Okay Okay, I forgot.. I was trying not to make you all jealous!
It was a ton of fun! Here is some pictures.. Oh, I just LOVE spending time with my family...

Camping Extravaganza!

Oh I love "RETRO"! What a great little trailer she is! The boys had a total blast...

We left on Thursday morning and met my mom and brother up in the beautiful mountains South West of Grantsville... Got everything set up, enjoyed dinner and a camp fire.. The boys fell asleep early so I was able to set underneath the stars all alone and just listen to the trees blowing, the deer walking, and let all of my thoughts go up in the air! It was awesome!

Then the next day, we pulled all of the 4-wheelers and toys out! Our friends Sue and Kellie, (whom are also like family) and their parents came up and we went on a long ride.. Sue's mother rolled her 4 wheeler right in front of me.. It was the most awful thing I have ever seen.. She didn't have a helmet on and I can honestly say, I thought she was going to die! I took all the kids up the hill while everyone was helping her, I don't do well in these situations.. Well she ended up okay, got staples in her head and crushed body, but nothing broke.. I can't believe it.. Other then that, everything was a total blast.. Oh wait, we did fireworks up in the mountains and about blew "retro" up... I guess the boys peeing on the fireworks didn't put it out all of the way!

We hung out in the creek, got dirty, and more dirty, Marshmallows by the campfire, hiked the mountain.. And I even got to go running on Sunday morning.. Oh that is peaceful! I kinda want to pull her back up there this weekend I enjoyed it so much! Maybe I will.. LOL!

Summer Fun!

Okay.. I have been a terrible blogger lately.. We have been busy having way to much fun!

1st of all, work has been totally crazy. My grandmother, whom you all knew had open heart surgery, owned the company that I worked for.. She was my broker! Well, the Doctor told her that she needed to cut down her hours or else it would literally kill her.. Because of this, she decided to merge with Keller Willi*ams, that means I have to drive further, get all the paper work changed over, my business cards changed, my signs changed, new contract papers, new office and new people.. I'm dang excited, because I feel like they are going to be great to work for, but holy cow.. BUSY! Plus, I have a listing that I have personally shown 3 times in the past week.. So new clients.. YEPPIE!

So, enough of that... The boys and I got a Lago*n pass this year so we went there on Monday.. The boys just love it there! They are starting to think they own the place! The water park all day and then off to the rides at night! We had a fun party last weekend and got to hang out with some great friends etc.

Okay... But here is the truth! So, I sold the little pop up trailer that was only here for about a month.. It was a total money pit! I ended up getting the coolest (ugliest) little trailer ever, and my brother and I have been working on the thing EVERY night for about a week.. Put tile counter tops, sewed new cushion covers, painted the outside, and now we are working on putting a fridge in there! It's going to be so cool.. . I got the thing for $800.00, its a 1969 baby! I have been totally excited about this thing.. Woo Hoo! My brother, sister in law, and Kellie have been amazing to help me with this! I can't wait to GO CAMPING!

So we went to Lagoon for my moms birthday and her work day at Lagoon!
I have to be honest, I don't feel like blogging really, but thought I would share some pictures! Hope everyone is doing well! I do read your blogs, but I apologize, I haven't commented lately because its been busy etc. But I do read and enjoy all of them! Love ya'll!

Oh and also, we have Lala's nieces here again for the Summer and her sister Debbie is here for the month with all her kids, so it has been full of family! So fun!

I wanted to let you all know that one of my "best friends", my grandmother had her open heart surgery yesterday.. It went surprisingly well and the poor thing is in a lot of pain and still in the ICU, but doing well.. She is such a strong women.. I love you so much Grandma, you are my hero and I hope to be just like you when I grow up!

We also went to Lake Powell for the weekend and other then the wind that about blew us back home, it was really pretty.. Actually full of busy kids, but when the wind stopped.. We had a great time!

Veg*s Baby!

So, La got a call from some great friends early April that invited us to go to Veg*s with them and stay in a 3 bedroom 2 bath Time Share Place.. So we did! It was a total blast, beautiful place with I think 3 pools total, but we hung out at the one located near our room... We pretty much lived at the pool for 3 days.. We did do some walking on the strip and the boys got to play at Gamew*orks for a while, the M & M Factory, and Excalibur one day.. Forget walking back after that trip with two 3 year old boys, we took a cab and the boys thought that was so cool! Then it was Pride there so we went to a parade which the kids really liked, ESPECIALLY BRADY! He was waving just like the queens in the parade and loving the music and dancing.. It was a great time!

Then the next day after hanging out at the pool all day we took a shuttle to the middle of the strip and walked to the Bill*gio... Beautiful water show, but by that time the little 3 year old boys where so tired that they fell asleep on our backs and we had to backpack them back to the hotel that was like 3 miles away, okay I exaggerated a little bit... Probably a mile away through people and stop lights, oh my... I think I would rather run a marathon...

We had a great time, and it's always nice to have friends that you feel totally comfortable with vacationing and even sharing a place.. Good times!

Then on our way home, we went up to my dads for some yummy dinner and hung out in the back yard and watched the Jazz get beat, played with turkeys and chickens and rode the horse.. Then my dad and step mom gave the boys some little turtles and they LOVE them.. Oh my.. They are treating them a lot like they did their dead snake, only thank goodness these are alive.. Thanks for the cute turtles mom and dad! Love ya!!!

Fun at the Ranch again!

Holy cow, it's been so busy around here that I haven't even been able to share our FUN weekend with all of you!

We had our annual "dirty job" with the cows weekend! All the "tough" guys go out and rally up the cows and do the dirty job!

All of us moms hung out with the little boys.. They where everywhere! LOVED IT! We rode horses and 4-wheelers, Played in the dirt and found dead snakes! I didn't know how much a 3 year old would like a dead snake.. Totally sick.. Beau and Brady would tell people they needed to wash their hands before holding this thing, like it was a new born baby or something.. hahahha! Or they would say "you have to sit down to hold it".. LMAO ... Then they all made snake soup with dirt, rock, water, and of course a snake!

It was all fun and games until they where fighting over the poor thing so we threw it away, oh after i teased my cousin with it.. I haven't been hit and kicked for a while, OR CALLED A BAD NAME! But she got me.. hehe Love ya Shawnie!

We all had a lot of fun, and can't wait to do it again.. I bet those boys that do the dirty job can wait.. hahaha

Okay... I've mentioned before that Beau just has this "natural" talent of cordination and seems very athletic, and Brady seems to be very computer smart and book smart! (one like mom, and one like dad)
So, tonight Beau picks up this stick from the yard and starts throwing it up and hitting it all by himself.. So we decided to see if he could be pitched to.. Check this out! And it was so cute how excited Brady was for him and kept saying.. "One more time"... We didn't even show the kid how to hold the bat.. Well I have in the past stood beside him and helped him, but it was like last Summer!
We decided that he is way to good to do this in the house anymore.. haha

First of all, things are finally feeling better around here! We got some good news, and not some good news, but at least the bad news has slowed down.

My Grandma got some great news last week that her arteries are NOT clogged, so no open heart surgery as of yet.. Unfortunately her valve still needs to be replaced or fixed or something like that, but it's not a huge rush to get it done and they are going to do more tests on the 22Nd, so I'll keep ya'll posted.. Lala's brother is having some more tests, and they may just leave the tumor alone if it isn't bothering his brain.. So great news there!

We got some other really sad news just a few hours after I posted my last post, that some dear friends of ours lost their baby boy at about 23 weeks.. Very sad.. And our thoughts are with you T&A, we love you!

Okay.. So now the weather.. Freaking LOVE IT! We went to my nephews 1st soccer game on Saturday, the boys sat and watched almost the whole game and ate sunflower seeds.. It was too much fun! (Beau is spitting seeds, haha)

Then, yesterday.. I woke up and went running, got home and we went to the Zoo.. Funny, we thought since it was Sunday that it wouldn't be busy.. hahaha WRONG! It was packed, but packed full of fun, and even got some SUN! It was perfect weather!

1st of all, I NEVER get surprised.. My whole life, I ruin surprises.. They just don't happen with me.. Well, I was surprised this weekend.. My very best friend from High school showed up at my house for my birthday.. Total surprise.. Her husband watched their kids and she came down for the night so we could go dance and hang out... It was the best surprise ever...Sheila and Ryan and their family came over on Saturday night with the Olsons and we played the Wii, ate dinner and hung out before we headed down to go dancing! Then on Sunday after a very lazy morning, we had more family over(yes you are all considered family) for a BBQ! So.. Thanks to all of you, I had a fun Birthday...haha Ty! Sniffer!

Okay.. Now the truth comes out! It's been a REALLY weird weekend.. I've felt very DOWN all weekend long!

My Grandmother, whom I consider more like a Mother to me, and a very close friend, and also my boss that I LOVE WORKING WITH, has to have open heart surgery.. Ever since I heard, I haven't felt the same.. I know she is amazingly strong, so I have faith and I know she is going to be okay.. But she is so young still, and I hate to see someone I love so much have any pain or struggles in their lives.. It's killing me! I'm usually the strong one that says, everything will be okay, be positive, stay strong, and now it's me that feels down...

Then last night, another one of my dear friends lost her Grandmother, she was such a wonderful lady.. Want to hear more?? On Friday a close friend of mine had twin boys born, and one of them didn't make it.. Oh and while I'm venting, I might as well get it all out right? I got a text this morning that another friends husband is taking her to the hospital, we have a friend struggling financially that I wish we could help so they don't loose their home, then we had a friend try to overdose on pills this weekend but thank goodness she is okay, and last but not least, they found a tumor in Lala's brothers head that is the size of a tennis ball, they find out results of some tests today.. AHHHHH too much!

Nanny and Sammie had to go back home, it was so nice to have them here, and we are missing them A LOT! We still have Jeffrey and Lala's sisters family here though, but only for 1 more day! They are staying till tomorrow night after my family birthday party. ;-) It's been so nice to have him here all week, for many reasons.. but he has been here for when I need to go show houses or make phone calls etc. We've had a lot of fun with all of the family here.

So, speaking of work... It's been going really well! I had my 1st closing last week so that was exciting! I'm love, love, loving it! But still if there is anyone out there that may have any advise for me to help me be as successful as all of you, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IT! I'm open to all advise and suggestions!

The boys and Lala are doing great.. The boys are getting sooo big! They amaze me everyday with new things that they say and do... Brady is going through something right now that none of us can figure out. He is very stubborn and VERY set in his ways, but still a sweetheart at times.. Beau has turned into a complete ANGEL, he listens and shares, he just acts so big and is really good with other kids and especially with his brother.. If I get upset with Brady for some reason, Beau turns around and gets upset with me and tells me to be nice to him... Haha.. TAG TEAM!

Easter and Even BETTER

First... Easter was a TON of fun! Got up, made a good breakfast... The boys got there Easter baskets etc. from the Easter bunny, and even BETTER! We had family here... Lala's niece from Indiana, her nephew from Arizona, and her Aunt from Chicago... We are soooo lucky to have all of them here, and we get them until the end of the Month.. YEPPIE!

My mom, and brother and their families came for a little BBQ fun yesterday and an Easter Egg hunt.. What a great day! We stayed up till after midnight playing games etc.

I know this is short, but gotta run.. Don't want to miss out on any of the fun!

Trip to St.George!

My step sister got married on Saturday in St.George, so we took a little trip! ;-)

The wedding was absolutely beautiful. I was so impressed with all of the hard work from my Dad and Step Mom, and everyone else involved, my Aunt Carla catered the family lunch and reception.. It was AWESOME! The weather wasn't the best, but it could of been a lot worse.. We were hoping to just let the kids play outside all weekend, but Sunday and Monday were way too cold!

What a diverse group of people.. We had from one extreme to the next there, LOVED IT!

Got to spend a lot of time with my WONDERFUL family! Lala as always, ran around making sure everyone was okay, cleaning up and helping everyone with whatever they needed! We played Wii and laughed our butts off as I fell while bowling.. Hello, we take this a little serious.. I'm even sore.. hahaha

Lala's aunt and neice from Chicago and Indiana are coming to visit us on Saturday for a week.. Woo HOOOOOO! We are so excited to have them, and hopefully her nephew will come from Arizona as well... Love spending time with family! So great!

New Yrk City

Wow! What an amazing trip.. 1st of all, I was able to go on this vacation all because of my mother. She travels a lot for work so she had enough points to pay for my plane ticket.. And she went for work this trip so they also paid for the hotel room (ya, like $4000.00) I can tell you right now that there is NO way I could afford to have taken this wonderful vacation.. And 2nd, thanks to La taking those days off to take care of the boys, day and night, I was able to go.. They went to Idaho on vacation as well! ;-)
I couldn't believe when we pulled up to our hotel, I seriously almost cried with excitement.. I guess I didn't understand when my mom told me that we would be IN TIME S*QUARE. This is our hotel room and a picture of the view from the back window and what I could see when I walked out the from doors. (Our hotel, CROWN PL*ZA)(View out the back window)(Times S*quare)

The 1st day we where there, we took a tour bus around to see EVERYTHING, we even took a tour bus to Statin Isl*and.. Then we went to Gr*ound Zero. I can't explain how I felt, it really felt like there were Angels flying around everywhere. I cried walking through the Chapel across the street while looking at the, so called beds that the Firefighters, Police officers, and others that slept there day and night, trying to find any survivors. The pictures of all the lives taken that day. It was so sad, yet amazing how the whole world esp. New York, pulled together that day... Wow!

The next day, we took the Subway to Co*ney Island in the freezing cold and walked in the Atlantic, wrote in the sand and hung out, then grabbed the world famous hot dog at Nathans and went back to Manhattan.

Another highlight was when we took a tour of the Ladder 4 firehouse, everyone on 9-11 from that station was killed, we talked about all that were there, read memorials, and hung out with the HOT firemen! ;-) They were so sweet and showed us everything there. Very neat!

Lets see, we went to the top of the Empire state building with King Kong, took a carriage ride around Central Park, hung out with the naked cowboy, and cowgirl.. (I know you've all heard of them), Oh and I can't forget to tell ya'll that I am now FAMOUS.. LOL! We were walking the NBC to take the tour of the building, oh and got to watch the rehearsal for Saturday Night L*ive! Anyway, Fox 13 was going live and interviewed me.. There wasn't much time to call people and tell them to turn it on, but my mom did have it recorded! I was a nervous wreck, it was POLITICS! Uggghhhh!!!

We went to the Today show and got to meet Meredith, Al, and Tiki Barber! Oh ya!!! She was a total sweetheart, Al was awesome, and Tiki, well he is HOT! *smile*

This is a trip that I will NEVER forget, we had a total blast.. Did a lot of shopping and the 3 of us enjoyed every second!

I was ready to come home and see my family.. Me and the boys couldn't wait to see each other, when I was walking up to the car at the airport I could see and hear them screaming.. It was good to be home.

Wow! It's been really busy lately since both La and I are working and still trying to cordinate babysitters etc. We are planning to put the boys in a Preschool, but we have held off a while because I'm going to New Y*ork on Thursday for 5 days with my Mother.. She has skymiles and her work is paying for the hotel ($550.00 a night), so I couldn't pass this up.. La took the time off and she is taking Beau and Brady to Idaho to visit her sister. I'm going to miss them way too bad, heck 5 days!!!!! I could have gone longer, but said 5 was probably my max.. LOL!

Well, lets see! First of all I had a new Niece, and I haven't gotten to see her yet because while we where at the "blog party" on Saturday night, I came down with a Cold.. I'm so mad, cause I wanted to go see her all day yesterday, but I know it's best for her if I wait... Everyone else is holding her and loving her, and I CAN'T! Ahhhhhhh ... My sister in Law is Amazing.. Can I tell you, the girl doesn't have any pain medication and Camrie(not sure of the spelling yet), weighed 8lbs and 7 oz. They are home, healthy, and happy! Congrats Tyson, Chelsy, Trey, and McKade!

So, we went to the "Blog Party" and had a great time. It was good to meet Holly, and of course hang out with the rest of you... Congrats to Merr and Sum... Woo Hooo!!!! Prego Prego ;-)
On another note... Real Estate is going really well.. I am LOVING it WAY more then I even thought I would LOVE it.. I knew I would enjoy it... But this much! Wow! Maybe it's because of all my hard work, it's going to pay off. I put in an offer for a Client yesterday, and wrote up another to fax over this evening.. Can you believe it?? Yeppie! I'm out looking for new clients and remembering all of your good advise everyday! Thanks for all of your support everyone!

Again a great weekend! My Dad and Step Mom where here from St.George so we got to spend some time with them. They had a lot to do, so we didn't get to spend a WHOLE LOT of time with them. But it was nice to have a little. Grandma and Grandpa came to our house and played with the boys in their room and watched a movie for a minute.

Last night we went to Tepiny*ki with my brother and his family as well.. The kids LOVED it.. It was great food and now Beau and Brady think that they can do tricks with their food like that cook was doing... We forgot our camera so I'll post some pictures from my sister-in-laws camera later.. Yummie food! I tasted Sushi for the 1st time.. Everyone always rants and raves about how good Sushi is.. So I tasted it.. Not too bad! But it made me sick when my Dad said "thats raw fish"... Right when I had it in my mouth.. Uggh..
We also went to Baylors birthday party at Cabell*s! The boys had a lot of fun, and of course so did we ;-)... I can't believe that KJ and the family thought the party was at 4! What? She is 4 years old, not at 4.. LOL! Sorry we didn't get to meet them, but maybe next time...
Beau and Brady are just getting too big and sooo much fun! It used to be stressful days that I felt I needed a break the majority of the time, but it seems like the past maybe month, they play so well together, listen to me, and actually help me at times instead of distroying EVERYTHING! The communicate with eachother like they are 2 little adults and the things they say crack me up... They are finally at an age where you can actually have a conversation with them, explain to them why we do things certain ways, or maybe why we don't do things that way....LOL! It's great, and all of you with Twins that are younger then mine, I promise it gets easier!
(oh and why my spell checker isn't working.. Shoot, I am a horrible speller.. )

It was once again a great weekend..

On Friday night we went over to our neighbors house for some dinner and wine and that was as always a great time.. They have a new Granddaughter whom is a week old and under 5 lbs. Oh was that baby cute! So tiny....

On Saturday, it was my sister in Law Chelsy's baby shower.. Got to visit a lot of family and hung out for a bit.. That was the highlight of my weekend! Then Saturday night, we went to some GREAT friends of ours Birthday party with the boys at Club 90. . The boys LOVED it.. Dancing, and running around like they owned the joint. It was nice to see some friends that we haven't seen for a while.

SUNDAY- Way to go GIANTS!!! I wanted them to beat New Engl*nd so bad, but I truly didn't think they could pull it off.. What a great game! We had some family over and let the kids run wild!

(No-Brady was NOT happy about this.)

Great weekend......

I'm off to work this morning! So far, I am loving Real Estate, learning so much... I've been going to meetings every Tuesday and Thursday and learning a TON! I don't even have my physical license yet, it won't come in the dang mail :) But I have my 1st client.. YEPPIE!!! Way exciting!!!

Like I said in my last post, we were in Arizona for a week.. The weather was perfect. We went swimming (yes outside), went to the park, and just relaxed all weekend.

Lala's niece had a baby girl about 4 months ago, so we got to spend a lot of time with her and all of her other great family members. The boys did AWESOME in the car. About 10 1/2 hours it took us, and they where great. I couldn't believe it really.. We stopped 2 times for potty breaks and once to get out and eat... Great trip! But now the stinkin SNOW!

Just wanted to write a quick hello.. We are in Arizona for a week, visiting Lala's family and returning on Saturday.. So far it's been a great trip and Lala's new little niece is ADORABLE.. No it doesn't make me baby hungry, but it's nice to hold and play with her.
I went running this morning in shorts and a tank top.. Does that make anyone jealous? I heard we got a foot of snow at home.. Wow, not missing that! LOL!
Wanted to let all of you know that I passed my real estate test so I'm on my way to kicking some serious butt out there.. If any of you know of anyone that could use a GREAT agent! I would love to help.. and appreciate the help of course to help me on my feet! Oh sorry, that was a total sales pitch wasn't it.. hehehe Really I just wanted to let ya'll know that I passed! :-)
We'll be posting some pictures when we return, but until then.. Out to the pool I go.. ;-)

Tragedy, brings loved ones together~

I had a cousin pass away on January 4th, he was 33 years old and just finishing up his residency to become a Physician.. Horrible tragedy took his life, but what a beautiful funeral and an amazingly stong family. So many things that where said about his life. What an amazing young man. He had a beautiful 9 year old daughter that was like a best friend to him. He will be greatly missed!

So, we went to the funeral on Thursday in good old Burley Idaho (where i was born), it hasn't changed a bit.. We got to spend some quality time with family. Got to see some cousins, aunts, uncles, and more cousins that I haven't seen in a long time. There is one cousin in particular that every time I get to see him, I feel so lucky, he is such an amazing spirit and so positive, and for just loosing a brother, he is SO strong.. One of those cousins/friends that you don't talk too much, but feel that connection every time you are around each other.

We also got to spend some PRICELESS time with my GREAT GRANDPARENTS! They are 86 and 87 years old, and get around like they are 60.. It amazes me every time I see them.. They get more beautiful every time. And I could never forget to mention my Grandma.. She is so special to me and I got to spend some time with her and my aunt Kami Su and her kids as well. Swimming, visiting, and just hanging out. We had 5 generations in one house that day! How neat is that? I loved every single minute of it! PRICELESS like I said before! How lucky for Beau and Brady to spend some time with their GREAT GREAT Grandparents, Great Grandparents, and grandma all at the same time!

We ended up staying another night due to the weather and I was able to meet up with one of my best friends from High School.. She lives about 30 minutes away from where we where staying so she drove with her kids and hung out, ate pizza, and took the kids swimming. She hasn't changed a bit! It was really nice to see her and her kids!

Emotionally draining but yet so what a blessing to be surrounded by so many loved ones!

Swim lessons! And Goals

Remember me saying that the boys LOVE warm water, and aren't too happy in that cold pool?? Well, we had signed them up for swim lessons a month or so ago and it was time to go.. We talked to them about how they need to listen to teacher, and how she will teach them how to swim etc. HA HA HA !! That's funny, are you kidding? Those bull headed 3 year old boys wouldn't even look at the teacher.. Then when we took them to the other pool to let them play a while without a teacher and where they could just touch, we couldn't get Beau out of the water. Figures huh?

So we go again tonight, and La and I are both gonna wear our suits, hoping they will get in the water with us.. I have to admit, that cold water, and going to some stranger in the water.. NOT! I wouldn't do it.. The other 3 kids in their class had been to swim lessons at least 20 times, they where good little kickers and not afraid of the water at all.. Lets hope tonight is better.. :) If not tonight, then probably after 20 times.. LOL!

So everyone has been writing about their accomplishments in 2007 and their goals in 2008. Thought I would pitch in too..
1- Ran the St. George Marathon, plus 1/2s that weren't necessarily my goal!
2- Lost some of that pregnancy weight!
3- Graduated High School :)
4- Graduated Real Estate School :)
5- We moved into a house, just a rental for now, but just wait.. After I start kicking butt in my new career, we'll buy for sure!
6- The boys turned 3, they are learning so much.. I love it that they can spell their names, and know their birthdays.
7- I started working again.. Only 2 times a week at the Dental Lab, but 2007 was the 1st year I've worked OUTSIDE OF THE HOME since the boys where born.
So, as of this year.. My goals are...
1- Get Beau and Brady into a Preschool even just a couple of days a week now that they are 3, so they can learn and communicate more with other children their age.
2- Start them in some sports, like T-ball and Soccer for sure..
3- Run at least 3 1/2 marathons, maybe a full but that's not really a goal.. We'll see!
4- Become an amazing Real Estate Agent and sell houses like crazy. And then my real goal here is to pay off some bills!
5- Oh 1st I need to pass the State Test.. Think that's my main goal for the year.. Whew!
6- Be more patient with my kids at night. Boy, when I'm tired.. FORGET IT!

Wow! My family is back! :)

Okay.. That had to be the longest weekend of my life.. Lala and the boys went to Idaho to visit Lala's family for the New Year, they left Friday and I had school reviews and test/ graduation all day so I stayed home.. Originally they where suppose to be back on Sunday, but the weather was really bad and that was too quick of a trip, so they just got home last night.. Oh my gosh, I could hardly stand it when I saw them pull up and ran out there so fast.. That was far too long to be away from your children..

Okay, on another note.. It was a nice break! I was able to clean this house inside out, go shopping without kids, went to the gym and paid bills without interruptions.. You know!

They had a wonderful time... La's brother came from Seattle again and then they all drove up to Yellowstone and stayed in a Hotel, they went swimming, and played the wii and enjoyed spending time with all of the family.. I look at the pictures and wish I could have been there, but glad they got to go!

Christmas was wonderful around here.. On Christmas Eve we went to Sue and Kellies house with my mom and brother and their families.. We had a great dinner, and played Wii. Kellie put on a great game that she called.. Deal or no deal. I won $50.00. The high prize was $100.00 and there where some great gifts as well. Kinda fun!

Christmas morning was great. It was so fun to have the boys walk down the stairs and see the presents that Santa brought them... My mom came over and watched them open their presents and we felt like it was perfect, not too many that it was overwhelming. They where so much fun.. Then we spent Christmas night at my moms, again playing Wii and eating some great food.. What a wonderful Holiday, and I hope you all enjoyed yours as well. :)

Wow, it's been a busy week once again!

We picked a family that we had never met to give a small Christmas to. This is a young family with 2 kids and the step mom is pregnant. The kids are 3 and 5 and just lost their Mother about 2 weeks ago..

We took the boys to the store and explained to them what we were doing, then they got to pick out some fun toys to GIVE to a family that doesn't have money for Christmas. We picked them out some outfits and some toys, and even let them help wrap the stuff. Then later on in the week we met the family at a mutual friends house to give them their gifts. That was kinda hard for two 3 year old boys to understand that those presents weren't for them.. But in the end, they did great..

This family was so appreciative and the kids where soooo cute! Hugging us, smiling with joy and so Thankful! THIS IS WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ALL ABOUT!

We couldn't have experienced this "gift" without a couple of great friends of ours~! Thanks so much Sue and Kellie!

Fun Weekend, once again!

I have to admit that I am not "that into the snow". It's beautiful from inside the house, but to go out in it, it's too cold! I used to LOVE skiing every weekend but I'm a wimp now.. Okay I was a wimp before (I used to sit in the hot tub the whole time my friends or family would swim).. hahaha

Okay.. The reason for that was, that Brady is just like me.. Well I guess Lala REALLY HATES the cold too.. So he takes after both of us! Poor kid, we went sledding with my brother and his family on Saturday.. He pulled us behind his 4-wheeler and then we tried a hill. Brady went one time and that was it.. He was ready to go into the warm house.. Beau had a TOTAL blast.. Even when I totally wiped him out and he went face first in the snow, he laughed and said that he was having fun! They couldn't be more different..

Then we got some great friends of ours to watch the Boys on Saturday night and we went to a PARTY.. *Thanks Sheila and Ryan and their kids.. B and B had a total blast! Great Babysitters... I don't think I've ever seen Kelly be so funny! And you know what I'm talking about girl! La played the Wii all night, so much that she is still sore today from it. We can't wait to get ours out and play it.. I think we are going to have to break it out on Christmas Eve at our little Party with the Fam!

I first thought I could push both Beau and Brady up the hill and it wasn't working, so I turned the tube around to pull them and they both flew off. Check out Brady going down.. No wonder the poor kid didn't have fun!

Great little Helpers

So me and the boys where playing trucks when Brady says to me that he has to go potty. I am so excited (because he isn't totally potty trained yet), I jumped up and started racing him downstairs when Beau yells at me "NO, MOM I WANT TO HELP HIM". Okay Beau thanks for your help.. The Boys go downstairs and I'm thinking Okay this is great, my boys are so independent and what great boys to help eachother.
It had been about 3 minutes when I decided it was a little quite and I'm sure Brady should be done. This is what I walked in to.. And both of them looked up at me and said " Mom, we are good helpers huh mom?"... Yes, I let them keep doing it for a bit. What good boys i have!!!

Then when we were getting ready for the day I asked if they wanted to go to do anything fun. Yep, I want to go to the ball place Brady says. I'm thinking The ball place??? , I couldn't figure it out and Beau finally helped me " You know mom that place that has the water too? " Oh the Childrens Musuem... Okay, sounds good.. So that's where we went for the day! Lately neither of the boys have wanted to go do anything. They just want to stay home and play toys and watch movies.. Ugghhhh LOL.. And you see the picture of them in the little tree house? They were looking out the windows waiting for these 2 little girls to come get them because they where teasing them taking their toys and running.. NOT FUNNY BEAU AND BRADY! It seemed like everyone was having fun until the little girls started crying.. Okay they where bigger girls then B & B..

The boys are right at the age where you can tell them that Santa is watching them so they better be good boys, they watch the movies with Santa, and we try to explain "Santa".. But do they really get it? I don't think they really do.. Hahaha!

We went to sit on his lap last night so they could tell him what they wanted him to bring and I was totally surprised when they ran to him and jumped right on his lap. I wondered if they might be a little scared, but not even at the slightest.. Beau jumped right up there and before Santa could even say anything he shouted "I want a Diego rescue center". Brady just looked in Santas eyes and then when he asked what Brady wanted he sat there and got shy, and replied with.." A Snowman".. He got shy, and jumped off his lap.. The reason he said that is because for about a week now, Brady has been telling us that he wants a Princess for Christmas.. A PRINCESS??? WHAT? Don't you want like a cool truck or something.. LOL! So he got a little shy to tell Santa this.. As we were leaving, Beau asked me where his rescue center is. He thought Santa was going to give it to him right then. Poor kid.. I had to explain to him 10 times that Santa has to finish making all of the GOOD boys and girls toys and then he will bring them to our house on Christmas night. Beau even asked if he drove a car.. Kinda fun!
Anyway.. What do we do about Brady wanting a Princess? hahaha Any ideas?

Wow! I don't know if we all got this much snow, or it it's just out where we live.. Holy crap! I missed the storm last weekend, but not this one! It's so beautiful. Last night as it started to snow, the boys where so excited they wanted to get out there right then and there.. Oh geez, at 9:00 at night, they are sneaking out grabbing snow in their socks.. SO...they won, we got them in their clothes and they where out there having a snow ball fight. (Notice we are inside LOL)

So when we woke up this morning and there was even more, we went out to shovel a bit and make "Frosty" ... They were loving it!
Oh and I wanted to let you all know that we got our Christmas cards out finally, but if you notice on the back of most of them, we had some really good helpers sticking on those return labels.. hahahah!

Not much to blog!

Well I was pretty proud of La for blogging all by herself.. She had the blog up before I even finished the race.. I did injure my knee at around mile 6 1/2 so I walked through the finish line, but I DID FINISH!! LOL!
So the boys are getting excited for Christmas.. They want EVERYTHING that comes on TV. "from Santa".. I want this, I want that! Here it goes.. hahaha AND THEY ARE ONLY 3.. Geez!
I got an email yesterday from a great friend of ours and they ended up with an extra Wii Nintendo console and some games, well of course we ended up buying it from them for the boys.. Oh, maybe it's kinda for us.. LOL! I'm excited about it though.. Now it's just seeing if we can really have it under the tree until Christmas.. Maybe i can secretly play it a few times and then wrap it.. hehe
Here is a quick picture of Bath time last week.. I'm a push over at times and they had a total blast.. They where lifting up the drain plug and laughing their butts off at the noise it was making.. Fun times!!!

SO Thankful for Thanksgiving

What a wonderful weekend. I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving as much as we did! The drive to La's sisters house was a LONG one only because we left right around 5:00 traffic on Wednesday and boy was that fun.. It took us an hour in a half longer on the way there then it did on the way home due to the lovely S*lt Lake traffic!
Once we arrived late that night, the fun began.. We just love spending time with family. From the WONDERFUL Thanksgiving dinner, going out for breakfast and coffee, shopping a little, playing games, going out to dinner, celebrating the boys "real" Birthday, watching movies, eating more Thanksgiving dinner, and going to the gym to play Dodge ball, Volleyball, and Basketball as a Family... It was an AWESOME weekend~!
16 of us, cuddled up into one house, and EVERYONE had a bed.. Ahhhhh!!! There was Lala's sisters family and 6 of her children except for 1 that's on her mission, Lala's Brother (Funcle Steve) and Auntie Tina with their 2 kids (Beau and Brady's Brother and sister) and of course us! We all brought our dogs too so it was just one BIG happy family! I love this time of year, we are so blessed with such AMAZING people, family, and friends.. I'm Thankful for all of you! The Birthday Party!!

Well the Birthday Party was a lot of fun! We need a BIGGER house, but we sure have some great friends.. Oh I mean, Beau and Brady sure have some great friends (yes this was for them). Really, I first have to thank everyone for coming on Saturday. We all had a wonderful time! I still wish we would have took a minute to calm the kids down for present time, but oh well.. I've finally got it straight on who got them what.. And THANK YOU! We had such a fun time yesterday putting everything together, playing with all of their new toys and wearing some new clothes.. I hope everyone had a great time.
So, we had a clown come and do some magic for the kids.. I think they really enjoyed it, B and B have been asking for Fifi ever since. They want her to come and play again.. :) The magic wasn't all that great for the Adults, but the kids really liked the live animals. I loved watching all of the kids faces and the participation..

Busy times!

It's been busy around here. So I apologize for not updating the blog.

We've been getting in every last warm day we possibly can before the snow starts falling. We've been out to Thanksg*ving P*inte Barn, the Children's Museum, and of course.. the Zoo. They talked me into it again! LOL!

We're getting really excited for Thanksgiving, going to Idaho to see Lala's sisters family that just moved there, and the boys Dad and his family are going to drive from Seattle to meet us there. So exciting. It's been almost a year since Beau and Brady have seen there brother and sister and there family.

The boys birthday is the day after Thanksgiving, so we'll celebrate early here with family and friends and then again there. I can't believe my baby boys are going to be 3.. Wow! It seems like just yesterday I was holding them both, nursing them, burping them and loving on them all day and all night. SO BLESSED, SO BLESSED!

I remember talking to other moms of twins and them saying. " I promise, it will get easier, If you can make it till they are a year, you'll get more sleep. If you can make it 2 years, you'll get even more sleep and they'll start playing together. And if you can make it 3, you've survived" Well... I guess we survived......and now the fun begins...

I better run for now.. The boys are having a Birthday Party here at our house (that you all are invited too, don't want to leave anyone out) so I've got a lot to do!

What a fun, FAST weekend. I took the kids to the last day at the CornBelly Cornmaze and Fun at Thanks*giving Point on Saturday. I didn't bring my camara so sorry no pictures, but the kids had a blast.. That was the coolest little place set up for Halloween. We were there like all day!
Then on Saturday we got together with some other BLOGGERS at the local "bounce house place". It was really nice to meet some of you that we hadn't met before, and nice to see the others. Busy with the kids, but a lot of fun! I was having major problems with my stinking camara so a lot of my pictures didn't show up. But here are a few!

Our zoo had a thing called BoO aT tHe ZoO on Saturday where a bunch of sponsors were all over the zoo handing out candy to the kids in their costumes. We went with my Mom and Lauri and my little "sis" Brynlee! The kids had a blast, I can't tell you how many people would say "Oh, it's the Doodlebops".. There was some really cute costumes, one family was the incredibles, the parents where dressed just like the 3 kids. ADORABLE! It was fun to see all of the animals out.. I've never seen some of them out like that, and the boys got WAY too much candy! After the zoo we all went and had dinner together and then the boys crashed for the night so I was able to get a little studying in.

Please tell me you know who the Doodlebops are! LOL!

Then on Sunday we had my family (yes girls, I consider you family, you know who you are!) back over for some dinner and to hang out. We had a great dinner and the adults jumped on the tramp and did our best to not pee our pants.. All of us women that have had kids... it's hard not too.. LOL! Of course my brother didn't have anything to worry about!

It was a great weekend!

Busy weekend it seemed! First of all.. Snow? I couldn't believe the snow? It's October.. What? This snow makes me want to move to somewhere a little warmer. It was kinda nice in a way since it was on the weekend and we could just be lazy, watch football, and play in it for a minute. The boys loved it.. When we woke up Sunday morning, they couldn't get their warm clothes on fast enough. They did Snow Angels, Ate the snow, and then we got into a snow ball fight, and and then ate more snow (that was their favorite).

On Saturday, the boys and I made cookies for a party that we went to. A GREAT friend of ours turned... Oh I better not say how old she is...:) But it was a really nice night. The boys had a lot of fun and we stayed there till about 12:30. Brady stayed awake clear until the end, Beau crashed about 11:30? Then Sunday we had a lazy football day after playing in the snow, and after nap time we decided to carve pumpkins.. Sheila, Paydon, and Braxton came to visit us while we carved pumpkins.. All sorts of exciting to carve pumpkins with 3 year olds.. LOL! They really enjoyed it!

This is going to be a quick one because we have a busy day ahead of us, but last night was so funny that I have to share..

Beau was eating some popcorn before bed (you know those hunger pains as you lye down?) and he was so tired that he couldn't even keep his eyes open. Here's a little video and then the picture of what happened afterwards..

Wow.. What a great week last week!

First of all, we have some friends that have been trying to adopt these 2 kids now for almost 2 years. Back and forth they have gone to the drug addict parents and back to foster care (them). These 2 where born addicts and the son is 2 1/2 now and the daughter is 7 months.. FINALLY the adoption is FINAL! What a couple of AMAZING individuals these 2 are to do all that they have done for these children.. It was very emotional and exciting and the same time.. Here's a couple of pics of the day!

Second... The St. George Ma.rathon was on Saturday and we did it! We did it! (sound like Dora?) We woke up at 3:30 in the morning and caught a bus that drove us up the Mountain.. It was the coolest feeling that early in the morning, runners everywhere, 50 camp fires to keep us all warm and then the gun went off.. Haha I was talking to some cops that were running and I didn't even hear it.. I looked up and everyone was leaving.. LOL! We weren't in a hurry to win the race or anything, our goal was to finish and we did.. Our biggest mistake was that we drank a Rock.star before and had to stop I think a total of 8 times to use the restroom. That probably added on about 40 minutes. Oh and I can't even tell you how sore I was. It's getting a lot better, but holy crap, 26.2 is a LONG way!

We then spent the rest of the weekend at my dads house there in St. George and had a wonderful weekend. The boys LOVE it there. My dad and step mom are truly the best, and my brother was there too. The one that I wrote about a week or so ago. He looked good and he had his kids.. It was so nice to spend the weekend with all of my family.

I have a little brother that is 22 years old, and if you are one of the lucky ones to meet him, he is such a wonderful guy. He is handsome and has a big heart. He fell in love and got married VERY young, they both were. They had 2 children before they were 21 and unfortunately the marriage didn't work out. Their divorce was final about a year ago and my brother has just been nothing but trouble since. He is caught up with the wrong crowd right now:( This is him! In the front showing this little (whatever) sign, in the front, white shirt!

My mom hadn't seen the kids since the divorce, my other brother and I have once when my father got to take them camping. Well I got a call from my EX-Sister in law last week and she said that she was going to be in Salt Lake for the weekend, so she thought we might want to take the kids and spend some time together.. PERFECT, are you freaking kidding me? We've been missing these kids now for a long time.. Please, Please, Please can I take them... We already had a camping trip planned for the weekend, and my mom and brother where both going to be there, so I showed up with the kids, and surprised them.. It was VERY emotional, but so much fun.. What a couple of WONDERFUL kids.. (yes I camped alone with 4 kids) .. Lala had to work, so she didn't come, but here is some pictures of ALL of my Moms Grandkids.. Oh she was in Heaven. :)

Okay.. I was at work yesterday morning and La was home with the kids when all of a sudden my phone went off with a picture text... I opened it and busted up laughing out load, of course everyone started asking me what was so funny, so I showed them.. Here is what I got!.. (at least they have diapers on.)
I called La and she said that the boys were being High Maintenance today and she's just letting them do their thing.. So back to work I go and about 5 minutes later, another picture comes through.. I nearly died Laughing at this one.. OMG! But I sooo didn't want all of these guys to come look at my phone and see my son in my underwear.. Hahahahahahah! But when I told them that I didn't really want them to see it because I would be embarrassed, then their minds were just a going.. "what could those boys be wearing"? I ended up showing them, only because I didn't want them to think it was worse then what it really was.. And now, we've decided that so many people have seen this and it's kind of a classic, so here you go... Oh Beau is going to kill me when he grows up.. LMAOAnd my long socks.. LMAO! Hahahahah

A little over 6 years ago, we decided to breed our Lhasa Apso dog and we had 4 girls 9 weeks later (what the heck is that all about? 9 weeks?) Anyway's.. There is 3 left and we have one of the daughters.. So yesterday was Chocos birthday and La had a silly idea to sing Happy Birthday to her with a candle on a Hot Dog and the boys thought that was all sorts of fun! :) Kinda cute.. We once again had a really fun weekend.. We went to the fair and then camping on Saturday night again.. The boys just love to camp, so why not? It was perfect weather.. Not to hot or cold! I didn't have the camara for camping believe it or not, but it was soooo beautiful to see all of the trees changing colors.. Thats about the only thing I like about the Summer ending.. :(

I really haven't had a whole lot of time to sit down and blog.. So here is a little video of the boys doing the chicken dance this morning.. Hahaha.. Too cute! We haven't done this dance with them since they were pretty little so I was a little surprised when they started dancing and clapping to the music..

Sorry about the late update from the weekend.. I got a comment from Dee and she was wondering why? LOL! You will never believe!!!

Well, we got Lala's neice to babysit over night and La and I went to Wendover on Monday, and we just got home a little bit ago.. It was a really nice get away.. The 1st time we've EVER spent the night away from the boys and they did wonderful.. Sarah said that they went to sleep in their OWN beds ALL night long and slept straight through for 10 1/2 hours.. SCREECH!!! What? They've never done that.. Holy cow, what did she do to them.. LOL! So, we had a wonderful time, and lost our butts... We were winning last night, and then of course we lost everything today.. hehe (it was fun).

Well, for the weekend.. We had some fun parties. Maklaynes Birthday party that was really cute, all of the kids made their own little cars out of boxes and then when it got dark, they all got in their cars and watched a movie like a drive in. It was also opening season of F.F.F.F... Football. Yeppie! We both love football, but it sure would be nice if the boys did too.. Hahaha! Oh and Beau pushed Brady off of the bed and gave him a bloody/blue eye.. You can kinda see it in the top picture!

Okay so we just got back from Wendover right? The house was a total disaster, which is fine because the boys where safe and happy.. Well La and I were straightening up the house and Beau and Brady came to the back door with big grins on their face.. They were sooooo proud! Look mom!! Look what we picked out of the garden... (at least it was a little one that wasn't really growing much).. hahahah

It's been a fun weekend.. Of course the concert, then Lala's nephew and his friend were here for the weekend from Arizona so we went up camping with my mom and brother for Saturday.. It was a lot of fun but holy hell, we were all sitting around talking and all of a sudden my mom started yelling bloody murder for my brother to hurry over with a shovel, of course we all take off running to see what was going on. As I turned the corner of the trailer, a HUGE Rattle snake was hauling butt towards my mom and Lauri's little dog.. My brother ran full throttle to get it with a shovel but the thing was still striking after anything that was near (mostly the shovel) but their big dog was going after it and I thought it was going to get bit. Anyways, he ended up getting it after the 2nd attempt and saved us all.. If they wouldn't have seen that when they did, who knows what would have happened... I've never seen a snake move so fast in my life.. Even on TV.. It was FAST!!! Scary!

Other then that, we had a lot of fun!

Oh and I ran this weekend and my knee felt a lot better but now I think I might have Plantar Fasciatis in my left foot.. I got 14 miles in on Sunday and as far as my knee goes it was better.. Not good but better.. So THANKS to all of you for my advise *Prayer would be nice* LOL... I'll keep you all posted! :)

Wow... We went up to Deer Valley for the Vince Gill "FAMILY and friends tour". Does anyone know what that means? AMY GRANT.... Yep, Amy Grant was there.. What a great concert it was... The gates opened at 4:30 and we were there to get a good seat on the lawn... They were great seats, but then after the concert, before the encore one of our friends said "hurry Kori to the front, she's coming back". As I started to cross the stage like I was leaving, OMG!!!! They came back... I was the very 1st, yes the very 1st person next to the stage, right in front of her... With my Amy Grant shirt on and VERY PROUD!!! I felt like a little kid...After they sang 2 songs of course I yelled, I love you Amy and she looked right at me and gave me this smile, and made EYE CONTACT!!! WoW!!!! What an amazing evening.. I've been to concerts of hers before but this one was by far the best.. And Vince Gill is so funny! What a couple of amazing artists.. Okay Okay, I'm done! Thanks for listening.. LOL

Weekend Fun!

Wow.. What an exciting weekend.

First you know, the 1/2 marathon... Then Lala's friends at work had a BBQ party on Saturday night that we won't say much about.. But it was a lot of fun. The boys came with us and enjoyed playing with the older girls. It's been a long time since we've partied like we (La) did this night. haha

Then Sunday me and the boys left La in her bed of recovery and we went up to Park City to see my dad and step mom and ate a wonderful breakfast at Sisoros.. Beau and Brady Loved going to breakfast with them and Beau bonded with Grandpa so cute... On Sunday night Beau said to me in the car "Mom"?.. Yes honey.... "I'm hungry for Grandpa".. It was the cutest thing ever, he wanted to go eat with Grandpa again... But didn't know exactly how to say it.. hehe.. Then he wanted to call him and chat on the phone! My dad was so cute and proud!

Then on Sunday evening we went to a Football BBQ party at some friends and had a lot of fun their too.. Here's some pics... The kids had a blast! Oh and the adults did too.. :)

So I had a half marathon this morning (13.1 miles) in Spanish Fork Canyon, Hobble Creek.. Had to wake up at freaking 4:00 A.M. *to a very sweet surprise on the kitchen counter from Lala* got ready, drove to Spanish Fork, and caught a bus at 6:00 A.M. and then up the mountain we go.. I've done these before but I don't know if it's my body talking to me that this is Stupid as Hell or what.. I hurt my knee a few weeks ago but hoped I would be able to finish this without freaking crying.. Well I did, but the tears where close.. My left foot hurts like hell and my right knee.. OH GEEZ... Good #*&;^$&*#.. I don't know if I'm going to be able to do a full marathon in October.. If there is anyone out there that may have any suggestions other than drugs LOL, it would be greatly appreciated.. It's downhill that hurts.. My body LOVES up hill... I'm thinking I might just take up a different sport after October.. Maybe a Triathlon or something.. :)

Another fun weekend.. It feels like the Summer is slowly dwindling so we're fitting in all of our outdoor fun..

My dad met us in Beaver on Friday and we camped until Sunday. It was so beautiful there.. It was opening day of archery season so there were a ton of hunters and I think I saw more deer and buck then they did.. hehe

The kids had a blast riding on all of the 4-wheelers, Razors, and Rhinos. Heres a couple pictures of the trip.

So me and the boys were eating breakfast 2 mornings ago and if you've ever been to our house, the computer is pretty much in the kitchen.. I know, sounds kinda weird but I love it and the desk is built in so it's meant to go here.. Okay Okay, anyway..... We have all of our pictures as a screensaver and all of a sudden Beau points to the computer and laughs... Brady and I look over just in time to see Steve (their Funcle) in a bath tub FULL of Bubbles clear up past his head.. Hope he doesn't mind, but heres the picture... Well I said to the boys, that is your Daddy... and they started fighting saying "that's my Daddy, Brady".. And Brady said... "that's my Daddy too, Beau". I just thought it was really cute how they were saying it and fighting over it..

Well, I had asked them about 20 minutes before if they wanted to get in the tub before breakfast and they both said no.. After seeing that picture of Steve, they wanted to get in the bubbles like Dad! We tried but couldn't get them as high.. The boys got a little nervous after the water started getting higher.. It's been a Summer full of fun.. With La's nieces here for over a month and now her mom is here for a couple weeks, it's been full of family and fun!

La and I decided to get the boys a trampoline with a net around it and even though I do know they can be dangerous.. So far it's been the best purchase ever.. THEY LOVE IT! On it every night so far with their cousins.. Especially Brady, I think he would stay on it for literally 3 to 4 hours..

I grew up with a trampoline so I was totally for it.. Some of our family and friends say "NO WAY".. But I lived on one pretty much.. Slept on it many times, jumped with water under it etc. And I personally never broke a bone on it, but I did break other peoples.. Hahaha (funny now)

But I went back and graduated on June 2nd of this year.. Not my GED.. I went back to High School.. Yep!!!! Nothing to be proud of!! But I have my diploma now~! :)

7- Lala and I met at the bar... Actually we met like literally 4 or 5 times (she would say "oh nice to meet you" every freaking time... She was always drunk and dancing around talking to EVERYONE, I was only 19, in at the bar with my mother and my ex (1st girlfriend) she claims that she never remembered meeting me because I had a girlfriend.. LOL! Then she and I were just friends for about 6 months while my ex and I went our separate ways and I even kinda dated someone else before La "really" started to like me.. hehe
8- I used to be a barrel racer and I also used to race dirt bikes.. Yep! TRUE LESBIAN!!! Cowgirl, Butch Lesbian!!!!

Weekend at Bear Lake!

Oh what a freaking fun weekend... We've had this trip planned to Bear Lake for quite some time now and it was well worth the wait... We went with Sue and Kellie and some of Sues family, My brother and his family and then Lala's nieces that are staying with us for the summer.
The boys had a total blast.. There was a GREAT fire work show right over the water for the 24th! There was a boat, jet ski, and plenty of 4-wheelers.. and when the kids went to sleep, the adults played!! :) And damn we had some good food! I LOVE dutch oven.. Mmmmmm!!! Other then the rain storm and the freaking mosquitoes it was PERFECT!
Okay.. I do have to tell a little story... My step sister and sister in Laws sister that are teenagers where "man hunting" the whole weekend.. You know typical teenagers, well I don't know exactly what happened but there was a bet for them to drive the 4-wheeler down in the rain storm and skinny dip.. They took off.. My brother and I waited patiently for them to take there clothes off (they were pretty far away so we couldn't really see anything), and we took off as fast as we could on another 4-wheeler down to the beach and took their clothes.. LMAO! They were screaming as we drove away.. We were laughing our butts off while taking pictures of them running to get on the 4-wheeler to head back to camp.. ahahahahah! So while looking at this slide show, at the end there are some pictures.. Sorry if you see a little butt shot.. hahahahhaha (Oh Shalee you are soooo busted, dad checks this blog often) Ahahahahahahaahahah

Okay.. we went to our friends house last night for their twins birthday party.. It was a lot of fun and I'm sure their will be pictures posted on K's blog!

But for those of you that weren't there, we were playing volleyball without naming any names... someone hit the ball over the fence into the neighbors back yard.. This is a very nice neighborhood and you would NEVER think that someone had a back yard full of freaking stickers and weeds right? So they toss me over the fence WITHOUT shoes and when I land I hear someone say... "oh their back yard probably has stickers".. UM HELLO... It's a good thing that I had some drinks in me cause HOLY S#*&%... Here look for yourself.. I can't get them all out...

Well the boys are doing great from their surgery.. Surprisingly they were back to normal that evening.

We had some friends call us up and said that their neighbors had a FREE, Take me sign on this cute as hell little boat for the boys and wondered if we wanted it.. Are you kidding me??? For free!!! And the boys LOVE it! We filled it up with water and they played in it for hours.. Thanks Sheila and Ryan! :)

We got toilet papered this weekend..(I guess that's better than being tagged with gang paint) Can you believe it? You know, pay backs are a Bi#*@, and yes.. we know who you are. I got up at 6:00 on Sunday to go run City Creek Canyon (oh is that beautiful), and when I walked outside this is what I saw.. The boys did enjoy cleaning it up.

We also had my family over last night for a dutch oven cook out. My brother has become quite the little cooker.. :) They told us last week that they are pregnant with their 3rd and we are just keeping our fingers crossed for a little girl.. But of course we'll be happy with a boy too.

Dental Surgery

Yep.. I said that my kids would never have a cavity in their lives.. Ahahahahah NOT!

Beau and Brady both had cavities and we spent all morning since 6:30 A.M. in the Surgical Center. 1st Brady went back and they put him completely under. Oh.. standing there as he went through those doors with the Anaesthesiologist and my little boy just looking in my eyes with a look of concern, as mine filled up with tears! La got pretty sick and had to take something to help her feel better.

Then Brady got done but we couldn't see him yet, Beau went back and he was kinda the same as Brady.. But by the time it was his turn he was pretty tired and hungry. (try telling a 2 year old they can't have a drink or can't eat anything). Brady ended up having to have a root canal on his front tooth, 2 cavities on his molars, sealant, and a cleaning, and Beau had a cleaning, sealed his molars, and 2 cavities in the front. *I need to say.. WE BRUSH THESE BOYS TEETH TWICE A DAY AND FLOSS WHEN WE THINK ABOUT IT* I wish soooo bad that we would have taken that sippy away sooner.. We used to put juice in their sippy at times and that's what did it.. Don't do it moms!!! ONLY WATER.. If they want juice, give it through a straw or cup... It's to hard to see our babies go through this..

Both boys came out of recovery really well and now we're home. We're hoping not too much pain for the weekend. Here's a couple of pictures in recovery..

Family, Friends, Parties, Running, and tons of fun!!!

Friday night... We had a Birthday party for Jeffrey here at the house. Family and some friends were here to play washers, eat, and hang out. (La and I lost the title at washers dang it) We were sad to miss out on the Disco skating, but we couldn't leave you know?

Saturday night... Toni and Connie's going away party. Toni got a CEO job in California so their moving even further away. We'll miss them, but can't wait to take a trip to Cali!!!! Sunday... We were suppost to go to the Zoo in the morning, but La's nephew was leaving for Arizona at 12:00, after he left.... Off to the lake!! Boating with my family for the day and having a WONDERFUL dutch oven dinner. Mmmmm We also ran into some friends at the lake that we haven't seen for a long time so, just a great day all around. Baby sitters... OH YA... Baby sitters!!!

La's nephew and nieces from Arizona got here yesterday so we've been hanging out with them. We washed Jeffrey's car yesterday in the front yard and Beau and Brady thought it was a blast.

Her nieces have come to stay with us for 3 or 4 summers in a row now and they are here again. I'm planning on getting school behind me since they are here to help with the boys. I was able to just wake up this morning and go to work without getting them up, getting them ready, and taking them to La's sisters.. Oh how nice!!!!

P.S. The boys are doing AWESOME with the potty training.. Hopefully they keep it up.. Beau is there I think and Brady only had 1 accident today... :) I think he's just kinda lazy about it.. hehe (still not giving up)

I thought I would update you on our little potty training... Twins are hard...
If Beau is going #2 and I'm sitting there with him, praising him... while Brady stands back and poops in his "big boys" cause I didn't pay enough attention to him.. Oh wow!!! It seems like they go at the same time for the most part, they always have.
So I think Beau has it.. I will be playing toys with them and he'll disappear for a while and I'll yell "Beau, where are you"??? "I'm pooping mom!"... So way to go Beau.. Now hopefully Brady will catch on.. He just doesn't seem as interested yet.. He throws a fit when I try to take him and Beau on the other hand is like "OK mom"... So at least one will be off diapers, better than buying for 2.. I'm not giving up though, I think Brady will get it soon.

Yep, believe it or not, we went to Lagoon again, this time with La's sister and her family. And on the weekday WITH NO LINES!! It was perfect, not too hot either. The boys had a total blast and so did we. I was even able to ride a few, including that new roller coaster, the wicked (Fast and Fun). Lala totally refuses to ride any rides. She would rather stay with the boys and watch. I was begging her to go on the Rocket cause I wanted to laugh my butt off but she wouldn't. Her sister and niece went and they are like La is on rides.. OMG, I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard.. Her sister let out some screams like she was having a baby.. And her niece looked like she was going to die.. Ahahahahah Way fun! And we got bounce back, so who knows.. we may be going again.. :) Have a good weekend everyone!!!

Potty Training???

I'm done changing diapers.. I'm done buying diapers... I'm done done done!! LOL

So, I decided after the weekend of changing all of these diapers.. Not only for our 2, but for my nephews also. I was going to go buy some big boy pants for the boys and see what happens. They have actually done really well, and OH MY GOSH.. They look so cute in there underwear.. hehe

Brady went #2 all by himself yesterday morning and Beau goes #1 pretty good as well . Yes, we have had some accidents but over all doing pretty good. But yesterday we went to see BEAUTIFUL little Riley and then to my Basketball game so they were back in diapers for the night.. We'll see how it goes.

What a fun weekend with my father and our families for fathers day!!!

My dad drove down from St. George for the weekend to camp with us and boy did we get dirty and have fun. He brought my youngest brothers 2 kids as well because my bro. couldn't make it. It was so nice to see everyone and camp, party, hike, play, and lose in horse shoes! (oh i suck lol)
He also just bought one of those brand new Razors that just came out (he got the 1st one sold in Utah). I don't know if any of you have heard of these but its like a 4 wheeler that drives like a car and you sit side by side.. It's an 800 that is even too fast for me.... But the kids LOVED it.. Laughing so hard when I would just gun it and go sliding back and forth. Yes they had a seat belt on!!! But even when these things are sitting, they are the best babysitters EVER. La and I say "forget all of the swingsets, playhouses etc. we're getting a Razor or Rhino"! hehe

We had a great weekend and got a little too much sun. Thanks for all of the fun everyone. Miss ya!!!

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon on Saturday and the boys are finally old enough to really enjoy it. We went last year and of course paid out the butt to have them ride 1 ride that they were just a little to small for. This year, they wouldn't stop.. THEY LOVED IT, the 1st ride they weren't real sure about, but after that... whining to get off of every ride because they wanted more... We had a lot of fun. The weather was perfect so we ended up staying there for like 10 hours.. Then at the end of the night (about 8:00) they finally went to sleep in the stroller so we got to do a big kid ride. Unfortunately the line to that new roller coaster (oh that looks fun) was probably a 2 hour line.. Oh heck no, I'll do it another time! LOL

Fun in the Sun

We're home.. We got back Saturday night so we could of course go to Pride on Sunday!! It was really nice to see a lot of friend's (acquaintances) or whatever you might call them... Other then it was dang hot and a TON of people, it was awesome!
Okay, so our trip... we left Saturday night about 6:00 p.m and planned to stay in a hotel half way if we got tired, but finding a hotel on Memorial day weekend is IMPOSSIBLE, and I really didn't feel very tired after almost hitting like 6 BUCK (not deer), lets see... a Fox, mice ........ It kept me a wake!! So, we made it to La's moms at 3:30 a.m. and by that time I wanted to pass out.. The boys did awesome in the car cause they were asleep for most of it. You can only imagine what happened at 3:30 in the morning when we arrived.. It was not funny, up and ready to swim right then and there.. OH HELL NO, I'M SO TIRED!! LoL
We spent a lot of time in the pool and hanging out with family, and had a baby shower for Lala's neice that is having a girl.....
We went to the Zoo on Tuesday just La and I with the boys.. That was fun.. We rented a bike that we both pedalled but i controlled the steering.. Oh, I don't think La liked that.. LMAO "Kori, you almost hit that" I think I heard that like 10 times.. he he (but not once, did i hit anything) then we rented one of those pedal boats in the middle of the zoo (that was hell to pedal with boys on our laps)
The boys also did an AMAZINGLY well job on the way home during the day.. And they were excited to be home and see our dogs and cats.

Yep! Today is La's birthday, we won't say how old she is but we had a great day. Last night we went to dinner with Sue and Kellie to Joes Crap shack.. Okay, if that isn't the COOLEST resteraunt in the world for kids... LOVED IT!!! Then.... Beau, Brady and I went and surprised her at work this morning during her break (yes 8:40 am.) kinda hard to get everybody ready and be there by then, but.... Both boys had a bag of fun things for her for her birthday, and then tonight we surprised her with a couple of friends from work for a BBQ. We leave tomorrow on our 12 hour drive for Arizona tomorrow. Oh gosh, 12 hours in the car with Beau ... .LMAO!!! Geez hopefully they'll sleep for at least half of it. We'll be back next Saturday... I doubt I'll blog from there, but you'll all here about it when we get back I'm sure.

Gateway Fun!

I know, I know.. I can hear it already! Do you ever stay home??? Yes, I do actually, but not much.. LMAO!

I ran in the Race for the Cure 5k this morning for my aunt who is fighting cancer as we speak (LOVE YOU CRIS). Anyway, the boys really enjoyed playing in the water and shopping around (oh that was me that loved that part). :) I really haven't been blogging much with all of this nice weather. But when I read Amys and she said that we aren't giving her anything to do I thought I better..

(Kaden is in the middle) Oh and for those of you that don't know Kaden, he is our friends Sue and Kellie's little boy that was born 2 years ago and a BLESSING for sure. He was born an addict and they've had him since he was 3 months old as a foster child. He is a VERY smart, sweet, BIG boy.. Kinda like another brother to Beau and Brady... Then about 2 months ago, they recieved a phone call that Kaden has a baby sister and was also born an addict as well. The parents are in jail and just signed they're rights over to Sue (Thank goodness). So they'll have 2 babies for good here soon. :)

Day at the Zoo

La had yesterday off so when I got home from work we headed to the Zoo. We couldn't have gone at a better time. Everyone was leaving and we were like the only ones there. It was dinner time for all of the animals, so most were out, eating and playing around.

Beau and Brady had a total blast. And the "Ghost of the Bayou" (Albino Alligator) was pretty cool!

Fun Saturday Stuck in the House!

So we've had a BBQ at my aunt Kami's house planned for 2 weeks now and the dang weather made it so we were all stuck inside.. Oh shoot, who the heck cares when you live in a "Better Homes and Garden" house. My Aunt was thinking "oh no, what are all the kids going to do".. Haha they had a TOTAL BLAST. I'm thinking we need a play date at least once a week.. They had more fun at her house, then they have at the Childrens Musuem. Pottery Barn kitchen sets, train sets, Castles, Puppet Theater.. Wow! The kids had fun, oh and so did La.. She played with them the whole time, pretending to wash clothes and dishes.... LOL

Then after we left there, we went to Sheila and Ryans house for their Cinco de Mayo PARTY!!! Played some games there for a while and finished watching the Jazz game.. WAY TO GO JAZZ!!! There was a TON of laughing going on, they had some pretty funny friends... Thanks for the fun you 2!!

Today we're having friends over for a BBQ so I'll probably post some pictures tomorrow.. Pray for good weather dang it, cause we really don't have the house for a "INDOOR BBQ".

Fun weekend at the RANCH!

My Family(on my fathers side) has owned an Upper and Lower Ranch in Idaho since before I was born and some of my BEST childhood memories are there. We used to go up twice a year for the Cattle drive, branding, tagging etc. but I haven't gone personally for many years because of my lifestyle and I didn't know exactly how my family would treat me and La, or even just me.

Since the boys were born we've been going to a few family things and my family has been TOTALLY AWESOME! So we decided to go to the Ranch this weekend.

It was sooooo much fun. The boys had a BLAST. Saturday morning all of the guys rounded up the cows and branded etc. (I don't care to watch) all morning while us moms played with the kids on the 4-wheelers, horses, snakes, DIRT, etc. There was 9 boys under the age of 6 ALL BOYS..

Then when the Guys got done with the calfs we had a great lunch and then it was time for paintballing. We played girls against guys and when you get shot your out. .The girls only won 1 game out of like 10 but it was a total BLAST! Near the end of playing because it was getting so dang hot, my dad yelled "last one standing wins". Well I think La got pretty close to winning. But OH, you should see her, she has bruises and shot marks all over her body EVERYWHERE.... Check her out in the middle of the playing field turning and shooting all of the guys.. Hahahahaha

Then yesterday we were riding the 4-wheelers and stopped at a little creek.. Zac (my brother) was just getting some really pretty white rocks out and the boys, well.... the pictures explains it all.. They were trying to jump over it and then this is what ended up happening.. It was a GREAT weekend...

We'll be going up more often for sure. The Ranch house is available to any of us as long as we find out no one else is there during that time and we leave it how we found it.. YEPPIE!!!

Playing at Grandma's

I had to work yesterday morning so our boys went to Grandma's house to play. They LOVE Grandma (my mom) .

So I wasn't sure exactly when I would be done but I told my mom around 12:00. I got off right at 12 and didn't call her on the way so I surprised them. When knocking on the door I could hear my mom say "OH NO, WE ARE IN TROUBLE". (She thought she would have it all cleaned up before I got there). They can do ANYTHING at Grandma's.. Much Fun!!!

Marathon

So.. We did it! Sue and I got up at 5:00 A.M. and drove downtown, caught the trax at the Gateway and rode up to the start of the Marathon at the U of U. We started about 7:05 AM. Ran until approximately 9:30 AM. around Sugarhouse Park and then finished at the Gateway. It was AWESOME (not as good as Vegas) but a lot of fun.

I only have 2 blisters on my feet and my knees can still do stairs so I guess thats better then the last one. Ha

My boys and La were at the finish line with my mom and brother Tyson with his family. It was sooo nice to have them there. Very exciting.

We were just hanging out and I heard Brady talking to Beau "I change your diaper Beau", Brady says. So, I yelled at La to grab the camara and we got a couple of pictures. It was pretty cute.

Heck, I guess they don't even need us anymore. Ha

I'm running the 1/2 marathon Saturday morning so I'm getting pretty excited for that. I don't feel like I've been training much for this one but what the heck!!

So, since Beau and Brady haven't been napping until like 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon and not going to bed until like 10:00 or later, La and I decided to wake the boys up early so they nape early etc. So, we did but then the problem is, is that means its an early morning for me.. haha

La goes to work and Beau, Brady, and I are lying in bed watching TV and I start to doze a little (oops) I hear Brady say to Beau " Mommies sleeping ". But I then fell asleep... I wake up about 3-5 minutes later and they are gone.. As I fly outta bed yelling their name I hear them talking in the bathroom so I peak around the corner and just watch. Beau is sitting on the toilet and telling Brady "I can't get my poo poo out".. HAHA I laughed sooooo hard I can't even tell you.. Too funny!

You thought it was going to be really ugly didn't you???

They did take a nap at 1:15 though so that's good... Here is another picture that we took at the park a couple of weeks ago that I really liked..
